CAIRO - 15 November 2018: Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry had a meeting on Wednesday with his Ethiopian counterpart Workneh Gebeyehu, the Foreign Ministry's Spokesman Ahmed Hafez said.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of Shoukry's participation in the pre-summit ministerial meetings of the 11th African Union (AU) Extraordinary Summit, the spokesman added.

The two sides discussed means of promoting bilateral relations and several regional issues of mutual concern.

The meeting also took up took up the latest updates on Ethiopia's Renaissance Dam negotiations.

Gebeyehu expressed his keenness to find the best means for pushing forward on the three-nation talks, hoping to reach clear and definite conclusions on that issue as soon as possible.
