Libyan army says Haftar not to attend Palermo conf.

BENGHAZI - 13 November 2018: The Libyan army has denied news that Commander Khalifa Haftar intends to attend the Palermo conference on Libya, which kicked off in the Italian city on Monday.

News of Haftar's participation in the conference is baseless, a military statement said Tuesday.

Haftar is in Italy to hold talks with leaders of neighboring countries on local and international developments, the statement said.
