CAIRO - 3 November 2018: The opening session of the 2018 World Youth Forum (WYF) kicked off in Sharm El Sheikh on Nov.3 evening one day before the beginning of panel discussions on various topics under the auspices of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.

On Nov.2, President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi inaugurated the World Youth Theatre as a play was performed in addition to other art shows. The second edition of the conference having the theme “peace and development” will be attended by more than 5,000 youths of various nationalities. The closing will take place on Nov.6.
Participants take to social media to praise organizing of World Youth Forum, under which a hashtag has been created and went trending in Egypt.
