KUWAIT CITY – 27 October 2018: Head of the Kuwaiti side at the Egyptian-Kuwaiti cooperation council Mohamed al Saqer said investment in Sinai will be on top of the agenda of the two countries’ first cooperation forum, to be held on November 7 in Kuwait.
In a statements on Saturday, Saqer said most investors from the Gulf tend to invest in Egypt’s real estate sector in line with the renaissance it has been witnessing over the past years.
They will also be briefed on the importance of investing in Sinai, he said, pointing out to the peninsula’s rich and rare natural resources.
In this regard, Saqer called on the Egyptian government to shed more light on investment opportunities in Sinai, especially that security conditions are getting better there.
The Egyptian-Kuwaiti cooperation forum will be held under the auspices of Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, who is also set to attend the event.
