Head of ERTU Safaa Hegazy dies due to health problems

CAIRO – 28 May 2017: Chairperson of Radio and Television Union, Safaa Hegazy, passed away on Sunday morning due to health problems.

The funeral prayer was held today at the Sayyida Nafisa mosque in Cairo.

Hegazy has been suffering from a health problem that caused her to be hospitalized for few months. Later she traveled for treatment and returned to work again, until she passed away this morning.
