Egypt is a dear friend, good partner: Chinese amb. to Egypt

CAIRO - 26 Sept 2018: Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Song Aiguo asserted that Egypt is a dear friend and good partner of China.

Aiguo said that the Egyptian-Chinese ties witnessed a comprehensive progress after establishing a comprehensive strategic partnership.

This came in Aiguo's remarks during a ceremony held marking the 69th anniversary of establishing The People's Republic of China.

Minister of Military Production Mohamed el Assar, Minister of Higher Education Khaled Abdel Ghaffar along with a host of public figures, foreign ambassadors and diplomats attended the event.

Aiguo said that Sisi's visit to China early in September was fruitful, adding that both countries inked a bundle of cooperation agreements during that visit.

China is keen on boosting ties with the countries in the region, he said.

Egypt was invited to attend the first China International Import Expo due in November and display Egyptian products and services in it, he said.
