Tawadros lays foundation stone for papal headquarters in New Jersey

NEW JERSEY - 22 September 2018: Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese laid the foundation stone for a new papal headquarters in south of New Jersey.

Egypt's orthodox church spokesman Bolis Halim said in a statement Saturday that Pope Tawadros inspected construction works at St Mary and Prince Tadros El Shatby church that is being built inside the new papal headquarters.

Last week, the pontiff started a papal visit to the US for several weeks.
