Egypt seeks promoting historic ties with Sudan - diplomat

CAIRO - 20 September 2018: Egypt's Ambassador to Sudan Osama Shaltout stressed the keenness of the Egyptian government on promoting historic ties with Sudan.

This remark came during a ceremony held on the occasion of Shaltout's end of his tenure in the presence of the Saudi ambassador here and the staffers of the Egyptian Embassy.

Shaltout asserted that the relations between the two countries are considered a safety valve for both of them.
