Shaker to head for Vienna to take part in IAEA nuke conf.

CAIRO - 16 September 2018: Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker heads Sunday evening for Vienna leading a high-level delegation to take part in the proceedings of the 62nd Annual Regular Session of the IAEA General Conference to open Monday and run for five days at the Vienna International Center (VIC).

The visit is part of efforts to promote cooperation between Egypt and IAEA.

The minister will deliver Egypt's address to the inaugural session of the conference in which he will shed light on Egypt's nuclear program in the Dabaa nuclear station, the activities of research and development in the peaceful use of nuclear energy.

Minister Shaker said the conference will tackle important topics topped by issues of international nuclear cooperation, radiation, nuclear waste transfer and IAEA nuclear sciences and their applications.
