CAIRO - 25 May 2017: The North Cairo Criminal Court affirmed previously approved decision to freeze ousted president Hosni Mubarak and his two sons’ stocks at Misr for Central Clearing, Depository and Registry (MCDR) company.

Mubarak’s lawyer, Farid el-Deeb has challenged the decision of North Cairo Prosecutor issued past January, to freeze the former president and his two sons’ stocks at MCDR, estimated at L.E. 61 million and 934 thousand ($ 3million.)

Deeb has sued justice minister, attorney-general, general prosecutor of North Cairo prosecution and MCDR to lift the freezing decision, over allegations of null procedures of the freezing.
