Egypt offers condolences to Indonesia after killer earthquake

CAIRO - 7 August 2018: Egypt offered its deepest condolences to Indonesia on Tuesday over the victims of Sunday's devastating earthquake that hit the island of Lombok leaving 98 people dead and hundreds wounded.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry expressed condolences to the Indonesian government, people and families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery for the injured.

Egypt stands with Indonesia in its grief over this agonizing tragedy, the statement read.
