6 killed, 27 wounded in bus accident on Mersa Matruh-Alexandria road

MERSA MATRUH, Egypt - 4 August 2018: Six people were killed and 27 others wounded in a bus accident on Mersa Matruh-Alexandria road in Matruh governorate, Health and Population Directorate in Matruh governorate said Saturday.

East Delta Travel Company's bus overturned near the village of Al Haraby in the city of El Dabaa.

In a statement, the directorate underlined that four wounded were transferred to Ras El Hekma hospital, 16 others to El Dabaa central hospital and seven to El Alamein hospital.

Meanwhile, the bodies of the deceased were transferred to El Dabaa central hospital and two others to Ras El Hekma hospital, the directorate added.
