Interior minister approves major police reshuffle

CAIRO – 30 July 2018: Interior Minister Mahmoud Tawfiq approved on Monday a major police reshuffle.

Social conditions and the humanitarian dimension were taken into consideration in the reshuffle to help officers do their duties effectively.

- Maj. Gen. Salah Abdel Gawwad, assistant minister for the training sector,

- Maj. Gen. Ahmed Iskandar, assistant minister for central security,

- Maj. Gen. Alaa el Din Selim, assistant minister for public security,

- Maj. Gen. Zakaria Abu Hashem, assistant minister for the personnel sector,

- Maj. Gen. Mohamed Mansour, Cairo security chief,

- Maj. Gen. Mostafa Abdel Hamid, Giza security chief,

- Maj. Gen. Reda el Sayyed, Qalubiya security chief,

- Maj. Gen. Abdullah Abdel Monem, Sharqiya security chief,

- Maj. Gen. Nael Mohamed, Aswan security chief,

- Maj. Gen. Magdy Ahmed el Sayyed, Minya security chief,
