CAIRO – 29 July 2018: Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al Sisi said in the final day of the 6th National Youth Conference (NYC) held at Cairo University, kicked off on Sunday, that he assigned the cabinet to tie all the Universities and educational establishments’ researches with the State’s needs.
The president vowed to restore all the cultural and sports activities to all the Egyptian universities, added to this the needed financial resources. Al Sisi said that all cultural and sports establishments shall have their doors opened for the Egyptian young students under the supervision of the Supreme Council of Universities.
The president revealed that the government will, in coordination with the Ministry of Defense, adopt the identity project in all Egyptian governorates, adding that the project’s plan will be finished during the upcoming three months.
Abdel Fatah al Sisi was keen to honor and celebrate a clique of the top students from different Egyptian colleges and Universities, before declaring that the next year 2019 will be the year of education.
The president decided to allocate 20 percent of the educational grants inside Egypt and abroad for the educational cadres for 10 years, another decision was taken to launch a prestigious center to train and qualify teachers according to the international standards.
“Our journey through the last four years was based on a social contract signed by all of us to make transparency the cornerstone of all the actions taken, this nation’s people are a source of pride who deserve praise and gratitude for their sacrifice amid the urgent economic reforms and the battle against the terrorism threat”, said al Sisi during NYC’s closing speech.
