CAIRO – 27 July 2018: Chief Executive Officer of Egyptian Media Group, Tamer Morsi, has announced appointing Montasser Al-Nabrawy as member of the group’s Board of Directors on Friday.

The decision to accept him into the group came as part of the strategy to increase the efficiency and organization of the group. Shortly after appointing him, Nabrawy held several senior executive management positions within the group.
Earlier in July, Egyptian Media Group announced acquiring Al-Hayat TV Network. Chief Executive Officer, Tamer Morsi, said that the channel will work on producing new, developed content. Morsi was announced to hold the post of Egyptian Media Group CEO in February to succeed former head of Egypt's state Radio and TV Union, Osama el-Sheikh, after his resignation.

Egyptian Media Group owns several successful media outlets including Youm7 newspaper, ON Satellite channels and Nile Radio Productions (NRP). Al-Hayat was originally established as an entertainment network in 2008.
Egyptian Media Group aims to develop unconventional standards and concepts for the content of media services in various media channels such as television, radio, print or modern media using digital media tools as well as developing the concept of marketing on all levels, sports, entertainment, or news with an emphasis on developing the concepts of public relations and marketing communications.
