CAIRO - 21 May 2017: Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will take part in the Rhodes Conference for Security and Stability on Sunday in Greece, along with foreign ministers of the Mediterranean region, according to Ahmed Abu Zeid, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The 4-day conference is set to tackle the challenges against the Euro-Mediterranean region over three sessions; the first discusses mutual challenges in the region, the second addresses education, culture and the environment, while the third revolves around enhancing security and stability.
“Shoukry’s speech will address the basis of Egypt’s foreign affairs policy that ensures preserving the national state against the threats of terrorist organizations, and the importance of settling conflicts in peaceful ways,” Abu Zeid stated on Sunday.
