Ukrainian cargo plane lands in Alamain airport due to technical failure

CAIRO - 20 July 2018: A Ukrainian cargo aircraft made a forced landing in Alamain airport on Friday due to a technical failure.

According to a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Civil Aviation, the six-member plane crew are safe.

The Egyptian Armed Forces said that the Ukrainian cargo was heading to Sudan, adding that some army elements were deployed in the scene for extending the necessary medical assistance to the plane crew.
