Egypt to receive fourth B737-800 jet

CAIRO – 20 May 2017: A delegation of EgyptAir Company heads to Seattle in the United States on Sunday, to receive the fourth and latest addition to EgyptAir’s fleet of Boeing B737-800 NG jets.

The jet is expected to arrive in Cairo before the start of Ramadan, May 27.

The fourth aircraft is part of a $864 million deal between EgyptAir and Boeing, including the delivery of nine airplanes by the end of 2017. The first jet was received in December 2016 and the second arrived in February 2017.

On May 7, EgyptAir celebrated its 85th anniversary with the arrival of the third aircraft.
