Italian Assistant Attorney General arrives in Egypt

CAIRO – 17 May 2017: Assistant Attorney General of the Italian "Sergio Cola Yoko” arrived in Cairo International Airport on Tuesday, coming from Roma on a private visit to discuss important issues between the two countries.

It is scheduled that the Italian assistant attorney general will meet a number of judicial and security senior officials including Egypt’s Attorney-General Nabil Sadek to discuss the latest developments in the case of the Italian Student Giulio Regeni.

Regeni's body was found on the Cairo-Alexandria desert road on Feb. 3 ,nine days after he had disappeared.
