Arab parl't welcomes UNGA resolution on protection of Palestinians

CAIRO - 14 June 2018: Arab Parliament (AP) Speaker Meshaal al Sulami welcomed a UN General Assembly resolution that condemned Israeli forces' crimes against the Palestinians and called for protection for the Palestinian civilians living under Israeli occupation.

In a statement on Thursday, Sulami thanked Arab, Muslim and friendly countries for voting in favor of the resolution, stressing the necessity of implementing it and other relevant UN resolutions.

Earlier, the Arab Parliament, at its fourth session of the Second Legislative Term that was held in Morocco, issued a resolution calling for providing security to the Palestinian people living under the Israeli occupation siege and onslaughts.
