CAIRO – 9 June 2018: A scorching hot wave that has started Friday across Egypt is expected to continue on Saturday. According to the official weather forecast authority, a mild weather will be witnessed across the North coasts, with slight decline during the night.
Clouds are low and in northern Egypt. Winds are moderate northwesterly, active in Cairo, Upper Egypt, and South Sinai, and also in Gulf Suez and Red Sea which may cause navigation disturbance.
The Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, with a wavelength of 1.5 meter to two meters and northwesterly surface winds.
The Red Sea will be turbulent, with a wavelength of 2.5 meters to three meters and northwesterly surface winds.
Meteorologists reported that Egypt will see a wave of hot weather that will hit almost all governorates and will last until Monday. Citizens were advised not to get exposed to direct sunlight for long periods of time in the mornings, especially during the peak sun intensity hours.

Temperatures will rise gradually starting Friday, weather will be moderate in north coasts of the country, while hot in Cairo, Upper and Lower Egypt with a slight decline in temperatures during the night, according to Egypt's Meteorological Authority.
Cairo will see highs of 39°C and lows of 23°C.
Weather in the cities along the Mediterranean coast of Marsa Matrouh and Alexandria and will see highs of 35-32°C and lows of 19-22°C.
The temperature is expected to reach 45 degrees Celsius (°C) in Aswan, and lows of 30°C.
The weather forecast predicted grades in some governorates (in degrees Celsius);
Temperature Port Said (31 day, 22 night), Suez, (39 day, 22 night), Asyut (40 day, 22 night), Qena (43 day, 27 night), Al-Minya (39 day, 23 night), Sohag (41 day, 26 Night), Hurghada (39 day, 27 night).
