Egyptian delegation participate in Latvia's 100th anniversary

CAIRO – 15 May 2017: An Egyptian press delegation headed to Latvia to participate in a celebration marking the 100th anniversary since its establishment, said Latvian Ambassador to Egypt Iveta Sulca.

The celebration program includes several informative meetings on recent accomplishments with Latvia's official authorities in the fields of investment, economy and trade, as well as facilitating cooperation between the two countries, Sulca said in a statement to the Middle East News Agency.

The celebration started on May 4, 2017 and on November 18, 2018 Latvia will present the best it has to offer in terms of culture, lifestyle and innovation, to be ensued by a series of events and celebrations between 2017 and 2021, the ambassador also stated.
