Military Production, Egyptian-Chinese University sign protocol

CAIRO - 28 May 2018: Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Saeed el Assar and President of the Egyptian-Chinese University Ashraf Shehy on Monday signed a cooperation protocol between the Egyptian Academy for Engineering and Advanced Technology, an affiliate of the Ministry of Military Production, and the Engineering Faculty of the Egyptian-Chinese University.

In a press statement, Assar said the protocol will allow both sides to conduct basic and applied scientific researches that could qualify the new generations to launch new industries depending on modern knowledge and advanced technology.

He also said the Military Production academy will provide necessary facilities for graduates of the Egyptian-Chinese University to implement their innovative ideas in the labs of the academy.

Meanwhile, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the Egyptian-Chinese University Ali Abdel Raziq el Sharqawy said the cooperation protocol comes as part of the two sides' keenness on establishing the bases for scientific cooperation, training and research.

He asserted that the Egyptian-Chinese University has a distinguished experience in the fields of modern technology, scientific applications and education quality.
