Egypt's Meteorological Authority predicted good weather in Egypt on Friday. The weather is warm on the North Coast and hot across Upper Egypt, with a decline in temperatures during the night.
Low- and medium-level cloud cover is predicted for the north. Northwesterly winds are hitting Sinai and Upper Egypt, while sandy winds are active in the Red Sea and Gulf of Suez, which may cause navigation disturbance.
The Mediterranean and Red seas will be mild to turbulent, with wavelengths of up to 2.5 meters and northwesterly surface winds.
Cairo is forecast to see highs of 32°C and lows of 23°C.
The temperature is expected to reach 40°C in Sohag and 25°C in the coastal city of Alexandria.
Suez and Ismailia are set to see a high of 33°C, while a high of 44°C is expected in Aswan.
Sharm el-Sheikh and Hurghada are expected to see temperatures of 34-37°C, while Luxor’s temperature could rise to 44°C.
