Egypt participates in Int'l Muslim Minorities Congress kicks off in Abu Dhabi

ABU DHABI - 8 May 2018 - The International Muslim Minorities Congress: "The Opportunities and Challenges" kicked off in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday with Egypt's participation.

The two-day event is held under the patronage of UAE Tolerance Minister Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.

Awqaf ministers and muftis from Egypt and other Arab and Muslim countries take part in the event which aims at activating the role of religious diplomacy to confront violence and hatred.

The conference is also meant to promote international cooperation to activate international charters on Muslim communities, especially in non-Muslim countries
