UK consulate in Alex. hosts celebration to mark Queen Elizabeth's birthday anniv.

ALEXANDRIA - 1 May 2018: The British General Consulate in Alexandria hosted a celebration on Monday to mark Queen Elizabeth's 92nd birthday anniversary.

Speaking on the occasion, John Casson, British ambassador to Egypt said, UK consulate is celebrating Queen Elizabeth's birthday.

Casson said during the celebration that Egypt will succeed with its youth, adding that there are many Egyptian sportspersons who achieved international fame, topped by Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah and World Squash Champion Nour el Sherbini, the diplomat added.

For his part, British Consul General in Alexandria Wendy Freeman said he is happy to be in the beautiful city of Alexandria.
