Mourners carry the body of a Palestinian killed during clashes with Israeli forces on the Israeli-Gaza border, during his funeral in the Gaza Strip on April 6, 2018
GAZA CITY - 27 April 2018: At least 50 Palestinians sustained bullet injuries or suffered suffocation after inhaling teargas fired by Israeli forces to disperse protesters participating in the fifth Friday of the "Great March of Return" protests at the eastern border of the Gaza Strip.
Six Palestinians were injured as the Israeli forces fired live rounds at the protesters who were demonstrating peacefully in multiple locations across the eastern border of the Gaza Strip, Wafa news agency reported on Friday.
The forces also fired teargas canisters at the protesters.
Today's protests are titled "the Friday of Rebellious Youth," the organizers said, adding the protests are dedicated to honor the 40 protesters, who have been fatally shot by Israeli occupation forces since the outbreak of protests on March 30.
