Saudi air defense destroys Houthi ballistic missile on Najran

RIYADH - 27 April 2018: Saudi air defense forces have destroyed a Houthi ballistic missile targeting Najran on Friday.

According to Al Arabiya news channel, Saudi air defense forces intercepted and destroyed the missile using their Patriot defense system around 12:50 pm local time.

Military sources confirmed that the Houthi militias intentionally fired the missile at a high density populated area.

No casualties were reported in the attack, the channel added.
