Daesh, Taliban militants suffer casualties in Nangarhar drone strike

KABUL - 27 April 2018: The US forces based in Afghanistan carried out airstrikes on the terrorist Taliban and Daesh hideouts in Nangarhar province using the unmanned aerial vehicles, Afghan news agency Khaama Press quoted army and police officials as saying on Friday.

The sources added that many militants were wounded and their equipment were destroyed during the airstrike.

This comes as the provincial government said that five Daesh militants were killed or wounded during a similar airstrike in Achin district.
