CAIRO - 8 May 2017: President Abdel Fatah Sisi holds an Egyptian-Bahraini summit on Monday as a part of his tour in Gulf countries pursuing unity of Arab states.
Bahraini newspapers and media outlets on Monday shed light on Sisi's visit there, describing the relationships combining both states as longstanding.
Alayam newspaper:
The widely-circulated Alayam newspaper said that Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa would be at the top of the list of hosts of the Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah Sisi and his accompanied delegation upon their arrival to Bahrain.
Alayam newspaper added that Sisi will hold discussions with King Al Khalifa, tackling friendly relations between the two states, along with the latest developments of Arabic, regional and international issues.
Akhbar-Alkhaleej newspaper:
Under the headline of ''Sisi in Bahrain on Urgent Mission'', the Bahraini newspaper Akhbar-Alkhaleej described the relationship combining Egypt and Bahrain as distinctive and one that has been especially consolidated in the last few years.
Akhbar-Alkhaleej clarified that the visit is not only for boosting bilateral strategic relations between both sates but also has a deep message for other countries.
The four Gulf countries Sisi had lately visited spoke about the importance of his urgent tour in a time when Arab countries are combating terrorism.
In the same newspaper, under the theme of eminent Egyptian leaders in Bahrain, a reporter directed a message to Sisi, praising the Egyptian people living in Bahrain for their active leading roles in fields they are working in.
The reporter emphasized further that Egyptian expatriates in Bahrain have all the rights Bahraini citizens do.
