Iran, Cuba denounce US attack on Syria

TEHRAN - 14 April 2018: The Iranian Foreign Ministry has condemned the military operation that was launched by the US, France and Britain against several posts in Syria.

In a statement on Saturday, the ministry warned against the international and regional repercussions of these attacks.

Tehran called on international institutions and organizations to condemn the attacks and move to stop such international chaotic act, said the statement.

Meantime, Cuba denounced the attacks against Syria that were launched at dawn Saturday, terming the act as a flagrant violation of international law, the UN charter and the sovereignty of a State.

The Cuban Foreign Ministry warned that such attack will lead to the escalation of the Syrian crisis and grave consequences in the entire region, according to a released statement.
