CAIRO – 6 May 2017: The Cairo Criminal Court is scheduled to rule in the case where former President Mohamed Morsi and 24 other defendants are facing charges of insulting the judiciary and contempt of court on September 30.

In June 2014, Morsi was accused of insulting the judiciary in a speech he gave during his tenure as president while all 24 defendants face the same accusation.
