Pentagon leaderships suggest upping number of forces in Syria - sources

WASHINGTON - 3 April 2018: Pentagon leaderships will suggest upping the number of US troops in Syria instead of withdrawal, Pentagon sources said.

In statements to Al Hurra News channel on Tuesday, the sources said US President Donald Trump will chair a national security meeting later in the day to review military operations against Daesh in Syria.

Trump has previously announced plans to pull out US forces from Syria soon.

There are more than 2000 US soldiers in Syria.
