Defense minister honors soldiers of Sinai 2018 operation

CAIRO - 31 March 2018: Minister of Defense and Military Production Colonel General Sedki Sobhi on Saturday attended a ceremony honoring soldiers participating in Sinai 2018 operation.

The ceremony is marking the end of their duty in the operation.

He praised the heroic role of the army men in general and the honored soldiers in particular whose service ended officially on March 1st but they continued in the service for an additional month.

He lauded their sacrifices in the service of the homeland for uprooting terrorism.

He also conveyed to them the salute of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi for the efforts they exerted to protect dear Egypt.

The minister confirmed that the Armed Forces will remain protecting the homeland thanks to the valor and bravery of its members.
