Abul Gheit: Arab summit in Riyadh April 15

CAIRO - 20 March 2018: Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit announced Tuesday that the 29th Arab summit will take place in Riyadh on April 15.

The General Secretariat has received an official notification from Saudi Arabia to this effect, Abul Gheit told diplomatic reporters at the Arab League headquarters.

The summit meeting will be preceded by a number of preparatory meetings as usual starting April 9, he said, adding that the member states have been informed of the date of the summit.
