Egyptian amb. to Kazakhstan: High voter turnout in presidential election

ASTANA - 16 March 2018: Egyptian Ambassador to Kazakhstan Haytham Salah Kamel said that large numbers of eligible voters flocked to the polling stations at the Egyptian embassy in Astana to cast ballots in the 2018 presidential election.

In statements to MENA on Friday, Amb. Kamel said the voter turnout is expected to increase at the weekend; on Saturday and Sunday.

The Egyptian embassy took all necessary measures to facilitate the balloting process and to ensure that it is conducted in an atmosphere of transparency and democracy, he added.

The voting process, which started on Friday, will last till Sunday, March 18, he noted.
