Indonesian amb. in Cairo commends relations with Egypt

PORT SAID, Egypt - 9 March 2018: Indonesia's Ambassador in Cairo Helmy Fauzy commended the relations between his country and Egypt.

Fauzy made these remarks on the occasion of the Egyptian-Indonesian day.

He underlined that the relations between the two countries dated back to 71 years ago, before Indonesia's independence.

In addition, he explained that his country and Egypt are connected by cultural, political, economic and deep-rooted relations, adding that the Egyptian-Indonesian day confirms the strength of these relations which will witness a boost in the coming days.
