CAIRO – 6 March 2018: “I proudly watched a group of creative Egyptian young people performing in the theatre show 'Salem Nafsak' (Surrender) at the Cairo Opera House,” said President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi.

After attending the theater show with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Monday, Sisi remarked that difficult tests are set for youth seeking to enroll in the Egyptian National Academy for Youth Training and Rehabilitation, but he will allow the theatre’s cast members to register easily in the academy as they possessgreat talents.
He added that Egypt needs honest and sincere people to be at the forefront of the country's building process to be able to achieve the intended objectives. Sisi expressed his thanks and appreciation for the team's dedication and hard work.

In his statement, Sisi welcomed Saudi Crown Prince bin Salman and his accompanying delegates, stressing the necessity of Arab solidarity to thwart any attempt of interference in the Arab nation's affairs and to preserve its security.In this regard, President Sisi called for boosting Arab cooperation and unity because as long as the Arab countries stand united, no one will be able to threaten their security.

"Surrender" was presented by a group of young talents who studied at the Creative Development Center;it was chosen by many critics as the best theatre show in 2017.
The play presents the struggle between two brothers in their quest for the cause of existence and mystery of the universe. It examines the conflict between tolerance and love on one hand, and hatred on the other hand.
In December, Sisi received a phone call from Saudi Crown Princebin Salman, where they discussed bilateral ties and mutual cooperation between both states.
Sisi and bin Salman met on the sidelines of the G20 Summit in Hangzhou, China, in September 2016, following a historic visit to Cairo by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz in April. Both leaders discussed stepping up cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia across all fields, and continued consultation and coordination on various regional and international issues to enhance joint Arab action.
The Crown Prince will pay a visit to the United Kingdom on March 7 to meet with British Prime Minister Theresa May, prior to his visit to the United States on March 19 to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump.
