Coptic Church posts Saint Mark's Cathedral preparations for Pope Francis’ visit

CAIRO – 28 April 2017: On its official Facebook page, the Coptic Church posted pictures of how Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral prepared for Pope Francis’s visit to Egypt, Friday.
The Pope landed in Cairo on Friday for a two-day visit. The visit marks the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Egypt and the Vatican.
The main aim of the visit is to present a united Christian-Muslim front to repudiate violence and extremism.
