CAIRO - 28 February 2018: Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) announced that Wednesday is expected to be warm in Cairo, north coasts until Upper Egypt, and hot in southern Upper Egypt.
Low and medium clouds will appear on the sky of north Egypt, and fog is expected to be patchy in the northern coast until the early hours of the morning in northern coast, Cairo, and Suez canal.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea will be moderate, range between 1.5 and 2 meters in the height with southerly surface wind.
The temperature is expected in Cairo to be 24C during the day and 14C in the night, while in Alexandria it would be 22C and 13C.
In the past few days, cold weather hit Egypt; nights witnessed even lower temperatures, accompanied by heavy rains and high speed winds that were more active on the Red Sea coast.
The weather on the Mediterranean coast witnessed North Eastern winds and waves up to three meters high. Besides, several ports across Egypt were closed off.
