Whitehall on lockdown after arresting a knifed man near the parliament

CAIRO – 27 April 2017: British police cordoned off Whitehall, near the parliament in the City of Westminster, Central London, Thursday after arresting a man who was allegedly carrying knives, Reuters reported.

Police affirmed no one has been injured in the incident.

The incident comes less than a month after a British citizen ploughed a car into pedestrians outside a pub near Westminster Bridge, killing four people and stabbing a police officer.
