CAIRO –23 February 2018: Chairman of Al Ghad (Tomorrow) Party and the presidential hopeful Moussa Mostafa Moussa announced that the party’s members coordinate efforts with the Egyptian Council of Arab Tribes to finalize the electoral program.

Moustafa, who announced his presidential bid back in late January, said that his campaign will spread in Egypt’s governorates and villages to speak directly to people about the candidates’ program to prompt them to support him in the March vote.

In press remarks on Friday, Moussa added a special committee, consists of professors and experts in different fields, has been already formed to carefully study and the electoral program to ensure that it puts forward serious and quick solutions to the problems facing the Egyptian people and does not eschew key issues.

The National Election Authority announced that the election campaign period, which starts commonly 9 days before the Election Day, will officially kick off on February 24.

Earlier on Thursday, the two candidates elect each own respective symbol; Moussa picked the symbol of a plane while his rival the incumbent president Abdel Fatah Al Sisi chose the star as his symbol.

Mousa received endorsements from 20 Members of Parliament- the majority of them represent Monufia Governorate- in order to announce his official Presidential bid.
