Libyan forces aborted smuggling the largest amount of explosives

CAIRO- 25 April 2017: A Libyan military source revealed that the Libyan criminal search authority aborted the smuggling of the largest amount of explosives, Kalashnikov rifles, guns, sniper rifles, and 30 heavy TNT bags on its way to Egypt.


The source confirmed in a special statement that Libyan security forces have been able to confiscate 3 cars carrying large quantities of explosives and war ammunition.


The source pointed out that the Libyan security services on the border intensified search operations to foil any attempts to smuggle explosives, missiles or weapons to Egypt.
