Azhar condoles with US over victims of Florida school shooting

CAIRO - 15 February 2018: Al Azhar expressed its condolences to the US over the victims of a gun attack on a high school in Florida that left 17 students killed and dozens more wounded.

In a statement on Thursday, Al Azhar said such kind of crimes sound the alarm bells and warn the world community of the dangers of the rising violent, hatred and extremist thought and its spread across national borders and underscore the need to reinforce the culture of peace and moderation especially among the youth.

Al Azhar condoles with the US government, people and the families of the victims, wishing speedy recovery for the injured, the statement read.
