Pope Tawadros consecrates St. Mark’s Cathedral in Kuwait

CAIRO- 25 April 2017: Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, consecrated St. Mark’s Cathedral in Hawalli governorate in Kuwait this morning.

Pope Tawadros II headed the mass along with the accompanying delegation including Bishop Bakhomious of Beheira and the five southern cities, Bishop Morcos of Shubra al-Kheima, Anba Youssab, Bishop-General of Luxor, and Metropolitan Archbishop Antonious of Jerusalem and the Near East.
