Mar Girgis church bombing death toll reaches 29

CAIRO – 23 April: Death toll from the terrorist attack on Mar Girgis Coptic church on Palm Sunday in Tanta rose to 29, after a victim died of wounds sustained in the attack.

The deceased, Vector Mena, was injured on 9 April in an explosion that targeted Mar Girgis Church.

Islamic State (IS) terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attacks on two churches in Tanta and Alexandria, leaving at least 45 people dead.
