Immigration ministry keen on supporting rights of expatriates: minister

CAIRO - 31 January 2018: Minister of State for Immigration Nabila Makram stressed the ministry's keenness on supporting the rights of Egyptians abroad and following up national issues, mainly fruitful cooperation with all the Egyptian unions abroad that help expatriates merge into their new communities.

During her meeting with an Italian delegation on Wednesday, the minister discussed cooperation on the Italian project that aims to merge migrants into the Italian society, particularly the Egyptian community.

The minister stressed that the ministry cooperates in any project that aims to serve Egyptian communities abroad and guarantee their rights.

It is a large humanitarian project that helps reunite Egyptian families in Italy and eliminate illegal migration through such services, she said.
