Ali Abdel-Aal to meet with US President Donald Trump Adviser

CAIRO – 18 April 2017: The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ali Abdel Aal, will meet on Wednesday with the Advisor of the US President Donald Trump, Nick Ayers, in the presence of parliamentary figures and some of the committees’ chairmen in the Parliament.


Ayers’s visit takes place after the successful visit by President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi in the U.S., as well as the visit of U.S. Secretary of Defense, James Mattis, who will visit Egypt on Wednesday April 19, said the head of Parliament’s defense and national security committee, Kamal Amer.


Amer added in a press statement to the editors of the Parliament that the visit will promote relations between the two countries, reinforce strategic relations and capitalize on fruitful cooperation.


On 2 April 2017, U.S. Congressional delegation visited Cairo led by Senator Lindsey Graham, met with President Abdel Fatah el-Sisi and Minister of Defense Sedky Sobhy and discussed mutual interests in fields of security, stability, and the fight against terrorism.
