Saudi Arabia intercepts ballistic missile fired by Houthis

RIYADH - 20 January 2018: Spokesman for the Arab coalition on Yemen Col Turki al Malki announced on Saturday that a ballistic missile launched by Houthi militias towards the city of Najran was intercepted, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The missile was deliberately fired to target inhabited areas, Malki said, adding that it was intercepted and destroyed by the Saudi Royal Air Defense Forces.
