CAIRO – 19 January 2018: This week, President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi is set to inaugurate a number of development projects in the Upper Egypt governorates, including housing projects and water stations.

The Minister of Housing and Urban development, Mostafa Madbouli said that 288 ready-to-move-in housing units in 12 buildings, which are part of the Ebni Betak housing program, will be inaugurated along with another 2280 housing units in 95 buildings in Upper Egypt governorate of Sohag.

In Aswan city, the president will also inaugurate a number of Bedouin houses that are already available in the Aswan Governorate.

Also, a water distribution network and water lifting station will be inaugurated in the Halayeb-Shalatein area, along with two water purification plants in Sohag city, one in the governorate of Aswan and another in Minya.

Last week, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi inaugurated a number of development projects in northern Egypt and the Nile Delta via a video conference ceremony, attended by senior state officials.

The third and last day of the "Tale of a Homeland" conference, where President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi reviews the achievements made during his four-year presidential tenure, kicked off on Friday.

Sisi is also set to answer citizens' questions about his four year term in office during the second and last session titled "Ask the President," as part of the online initiative launched earlier in January, to enhance communication between the president and citizens.
